Our Story
From a small sea-transport venture in 2003 to India's largest coastal multimodal company today.
Our Beginning
The growth in Indian GDP and trade created a strong demand for more transportation. Coastal shipping, together with road and rail, became the ideal way to meet it. In 2003, Modi Minerals Group started a sea transportation firm for its mineral-based clients under the name "Pushpak Trans Suvidha", moving mineral cargo by small country craft from Veraval–Porbandar ports to south India.
The group then started multi-modal logistics from Pipavav port with the support of Shreyas Relay Systems (Relay Shipping), Mumbai—a "Green Revolution" in the sector. Operations began with 5–10 containers per vessel and, with the management's vision, grew to 100 containers per month. The firm was renamed "Pushpak Logistics Pvt Ltd" and the journey as we know it began in mid-2004.

Today Pushpak is India's largest coastal multimodal company, backed by experienced promoters and a dedicated team that focuses on excellence and on opening new routes in coastal trade. Pushpak is the first forwarder to run coastal container movements between Gujarat and Cochin, Mangalore, Chennai, Hazira, Goa and Tuticorin, with the support of Shreyas Relay Systems Ltd.
Pushpak is currently handling 2000+ containers per month—about 30–40% of India's coastal trade—making it the market leader in India's coastal multimodal business. Pushpak has won the support of all major Indian coastal lines such as Avana Logistek Ltd (formerly Shreyas Relay Systems Ltd), Shipping Corporation of India Ltd (a Navaratna PSU), TCI Seaways and Sima Marine India Pvt Ltd, Jindal Waterways Ltd (JITFL) and Carawel Logistics. Pushpak has a major partnership with all Indian coastal lines whose vessels call at major and minor ports of the country.
